This is the second edition of a batch of five harvests of the Encruzado grape variety (from 2015 to 2019). In each harvest, an Encruzado barrel was kept, resulting in a new edition of the successful blend of this iconic Dão grape variety.
Grape Varieties: 100% Encruzado
Tasting Notes: Citrus color. Aroma of white fruits, lychee, floral notes. Full-bodied, fresh and elegant wine. Long aftertaste.
Vinification: Beginning of fermentation in tanning, ending in barrels.
Ageing: In 600l barrel.
Consumption: Right away but with great ageing potential.
Gastronomy: More structured fish dishes and cheeses.
