Herdade do Rocim Fresh From Amphora Nat Cool Tinto 2023

Herdade do Rocim Fresh from Amphora Red is the result f a partnership between Herdade do Rocim and Niepoort, making an approach to the Nat’Cool concept and to its philosophy of relaxed and easy to drink wines. Our interpretation uses the ancestral method of making the wine in talha, with the amphoras contributing to a lighter, fresh and very harmonious wine.

Grape Varieties: Moreto, Tinta Grossa and Trincadeira.

Tasting Notes: Very light ruby color, earthy and vegetable nose with fresh fruit. Very light and harmonious. Should be served slightly chilled (12-14ºC).

Vinification: In clay pots and with no temperature control. The ancestral way to make such wine was fully respected. Fermentation took place using indigenous yeasts and with no addition or correction of must.

Ageing: Two months of skin contact inside the amphora.
