Exclusively Boal from different harvest years and with an average age of 10 years. Fermentation of skins, with fermentation and temperature control.
Grape Varieties: 100% Boal
Tasting Notes: Bright amber colour with brownish nuances. Woody, complex and rich. Exotic and complex aromas, characteristic of ageing in wood, such as caramel and toasted almonds. Notes of tea and dried fruits. Enjoyable as a whole. Medium sweet wine, clear and elegant. Well balanced acidity and body, showing tannins and a delicate sweetness. Notes of chocolate and dried fruits.
Gastronomy: Excellent to serve with dessert or with a good cheese or simply as a great digestive. Must be served at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC. It doesn't have to be decanted. After opening, the wine will remain for several months in good condition.
Winemaking: Open spout with temperature control. Stalked and pressed grapes. Interruption of fermentation by adding neutral wine alcohol at 96% Vol.
Ageing: In 650 litres oak barrels.
Expected Longevity: Madeira wines, due to their characteristics and fortification, are of great longevity.
