Exclusively Malvasia from different harvest years and with an average age of 10 years. Fermentation of skins, with fermentation and temperature control.
Varieties: 100% Malvasia
Tasting Notes: Topaz/brownish with reflections. Exotic aromas of wood, caramel and toasted almonds. Notes of tobacco and dried fruits. Sweet, clear, elegant, harmonious and complex. Well-balanced acidity and body, showing tannins and a delicate sweetness. Strong notes of chocolate, caramel and almond aroma. Slight notes of vanilla, orange and dried fruits.
Gastronomy: This Malvasia can be enjoyed alone or as an excellent digestive. The Malvazia wines are the oldest in Madeira, producing unique and unrivalled wines in the world. Must be served at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC. It doesn't have to be decanted. After opening, the wine will remain for several months in good condition.
Winemaking: Open spout with temperature control. Stalked and pressed grapes. Interruption of fermentation by adding neutral wine alcohol at 96% Vol.
Ageing: In 650 litres oak barrels.
Expected Longevity: Madeira wines, due to their characteristics and fortification, are of great longevity.
