Moscatel de Setúbal, is a dessert wine produced in the Setúbal Region, demarcated since 1907. Casa Agrícola Horácio Simões knew how to bet on this noble grape from the region and produce this nectar.
Tasting Note: Dark topaz color. Very intense aroma of Moscatel, floral, spices, raisins and nuts. Round flavor, very soft and fresh. Very long finish.
Gastronomy: As an accompaniment to a good dessert served at a temperature of 14ºC.
Vinification : The must is fermented in a cement vat and processed with brandy shortly after fermentation begins. Maceration during the winter (6 months), the wine remains with the pasta and is then removed. The masses are pressed and this press wine is separated. Ageing: Since 1999 in wood. Expected longevity: If kept in good condition has great possibilities for improvement for many years. Winemaker: Luís Camacho Simões
