DO Palmela. The production of these wines with the right to mention the Palmela origin is subject to a series of requirements that include the geographical location of the vineyard, the type of soil and type of winemaking technology, etc. These conditions mean that DO Palmela obtain a recognized quality in the national and international market.
Tasting Note: Color: Yellow, greenish. Aroma: Intense, mineral, fruity, an excellent combination of natural aromas characteristic of the variety. Taste: Fresh, intense and with great volume in the mouth. Aftertaste: Light and fresh.
Gastronomy: Served at a temperature of 10ºC / 14ºC, it goes well with fresh seafood, fish and salads.
Vinification: Fermented in barrels with temperature control. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in French oak barrels, with vigorous battonage for 6 months.
Ageing: In French oak half barrels and later in the bottle.
Expected Longevity: If stored in good condition, it has a great chance of improving for a few more years.
Store: Bottle lying down, in a place with a humidity of around 60% and a constant temperature (10-20ºC), and away from direct light.
