The production of these wines is subject to a series of requirements that include the geographical location of the vineyard, the type of soil, the grape varieties used, and the type of winemaking technology. These conditions lead to a quality recognized in the national and international market.
Grape Varieties: 50% Castelão and 50% Aragonês.
Tasting Notes: Color: Copper. Aroma: light, fruity. Taste: Aromas of orange blossom, raspberries. Aftertaste: Medium.
Serving Suggestions: Served at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC, it goes well with cheeses as well as practically all Mediterranean food.
Winemaking: Harvesting is manual. When the grapes arrive at the winery, they are de-stemmed and pressed until 70% yield. The pressed must settles in a stainless steel tank at a temperature of 10ºC for 60 hours. After being cleaned, it is inoculated in a stainless steel tank where alcoholic fermentation begins.
Expected Longevity: If stored in good conditions, it has a great chance of improving for a few more years.
