Terroir: Calcareous clay soils, rich and with a great capacity for exchange with plants. Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence, great temperature range, maximum sun exposure with vines facing south, planted on a slope that provides excellent drainage of the land and thus contributes to the balance of the vines with reflection on low yields, concentrated grapes and acidity potential that produces fresh and long-lasting wines.
Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional
Tasting Notes: The elegance of aromas and flavors of freshly picked fruit, blackberry and ripe cherry. The freshness of an elegant acidity. A voluminous mouth with balsamic, cocoa and clove notes. The evident presence of the quality wood where it aged. Serve at 16°-18°C.
Vinification and Ageing: Grapes harvested manually at a stage where the balance of maturation and acidity is enhanced. Bunches selected and transported in individual boxes to a wooden vat for maceration and fermentation for a few days. Aged for 24 months in 225l French oak barrels.
