Terroir: Calcareous clay soils, rich and with a great capacity for exchange with plants. Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence, great temperature range, maximum sun exposure with vines facing south, planted on a slope that provides excellent drainage of the land and thus contributes to the balance of the vines with reflection on low yields, concentrated grapes and acidity potential that produces fresh and long-lasting wines.
Grape Varieties: Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional.
Tasting Notes: Dark violet color, deep and well-defined aromas, good structure in the mouth where the tannins are very present and with a lively acidity that allows a long and persistent aftertaste.
Vinification: Grapes harvested at a stage where the balance of maturation and acidity is enhanced. Bunches selected and transported by gravity to a closed stainless steel press where they undergo pre-fermentation maceration. Aged for more than 10 months in 225L French oak barrels.
