The nobleness of the grapes Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional, associated to the ground and the microclimate of Douro has given this wine personality and a unique character. It has fermented in stainless steel, finished fermentation in used oak casks.
Grape Varieties: 70% Touriga Franca, 15% Touriga Nacional, 15% Tinta Roriz. Manual cut by night harvest.
Tasting Note: Colour: Rosé. Aroma: Delicate, fruity, intense. Flavour: Smooth, fresh with persistente final.
Vinification: Cold skin contact, pressing with partial exhaustion.
Ageing: Fermentation in stainless steel vats, with temperature control. Finishes the ageing in stainless steel vats with bâtonnage on the fine lees.
Gastronomy: Appetizers, seafood, sushi and codfish. It is recommended to drink it at a temperature of 8-10ºC.
Ageing Ability: It is a ripe and intense wine, specific of the “Terroir” of the Douro, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for a period of 4 to 5 years after bottling.
