Grape Varieties: Touriga Franca
Tasting Note: It is an intense, mature wine, specific to the “Terroir” of the Douro, with positive aging in the bottle for many years after bottling.
Winemaking: 100% destemming. Vinified in stainless steel vats with temperature control.
Ageing: 4 months in used French oak barrels and 6 months in bottle.
Pairing: Buttered Goat and Sheep cheeses, traditional sausages, red meats, game and consistent traditional dishes.
Ageing Ability: 2 to 4 years after bottling.
