Soils: Clay-Limestone
Vineyards: The vineyards located at Quinta do Porto Nogueira are conducted in Organic Production Mode. In soil maintenance, special attention is paid to combating erosion and increasing the content of organic matter. We favor the non-mobilization of soil and the application of manure of natural origin.
Grape Varieties: 40% Arinto, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Encruzado.
Tasting Notes: Citrus colored wine, bright appearance, stone fruit aromas and some gunpowder notes. Mouth with excellent freshness and balance, good volume, very elegant crackling acidity and a long-lasting aftertaste.
Vinification: Rigorous selection and selection of bunches and berries made from 100% of the grapes. Gentle pneumatic pressing, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 15ºC in stainless steel vats. Partial fermentation in French Seguin Moreau oak barrels, followed by aging for 6 months.
