Soils: Clay-Limestone
Vineyards: The vineyards located at Quinta do Porto Nogueira are cultivated under sustainable agricultural practices certified by the “Normas de Produção Integrada”. In soil maintenance, special attention is paid to combating erosion and increasing the content of organic matter. We favor the non-mobilization of soil and the application of manure of natural origin.
Grape Varieties: 100% Alvarinho
Tasting Notes: Citrus color, bright appearance, elegant and defined aromas with exotic fruits, lychees, some minerality notes and light toast. Intense and fresh mouth with incisive acidity but harmonized with greasiness and good volume. It ends with honeyed, unctuous notes and huge final freshness.
Vinification: Rigorous selection and selection of bunches and berries made from 100% of the grapes. Gentle pneumatic pressing, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 15ºC in small-capacity stainless steel vats. Partial fermentation in used French oak barrels followed by batonnage for 120 days.
