Grape Varieties: 100% Vinhão
Tasting Notes: Opaque violet color. the aroma shows red fruits and some vegetal, with sower cherry and cassis notyes, complexed by spicy and mentholated nuances. On the palete firm yet round tannins prevail, in hand with a crisp acidity that makes this wine enormously gastronomic and persistent.
Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation and maceration with foot treating in ancient granite tanks (lagares) at controlled temperatures between 20º and 22ºC. Malolatic Fermentation in inox vats. Ageing “sur lies”. Filtration. Bottling.
Gastronomy: Best served between 12º and 15ºC.
Oenologues: Tiago Sampaio and Miguel Viseu.
