Grape Varieties: Moreto Vinhas Velhas
Tasting Notes: Clean ruby color. Aroma of red fruits, very complex and fine. In the mouth it is intense, with soft but persistent tannins, providing a long, complex and elegant aftertaste.
Winemaking: Manually harvested by the box during the cooler hours of the day. De-stemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation in presses at controlled temperature (21-24ºC).
Ageing: Ageing in French oak wood used for 12 months. After bottling, there were 6 months in bottle aging.
Gastronomy: Accompanies all meat dishes, with starters based on pates, sausages, cured cheeses. It should be served at a temperature of 16ºC.
