Quinta da Fonte Nova Tawny 20 Anos

Terroir: Created on the slopes of the Douro Superior in schist soils, the vines are close to the river creating high maturation but retaining the freshness of the grapes, in line with the characteristics of the region.

Tasting Notes: Very ripe fruit, nutty notes, with a unique complexity, long and elegant finish.

Vinification: Created from the great red grape varieties of the Douro, the musts see their fermentation interrupted by the addition of wine brandy, using the traditional production method, followed by a prolonged aging in oak.

Ageing: Quinta da Fonte Nova is created by combining wines from various harvests, aged in oak, with an average age of 20 years.
