Grape Varieties: Tinta da Barca 50%, Alicante Bouschet 50%.
Tasting Notes: Ruby colored, this wine presents notes of sloe jam, plum, cedar oil and some sargassum. On the palate it has a vibrant acidity with some rock and vegetal notes. Two varieties that complement each other perfectly.
Vinification: The grapes were transported in 22Kg boxes up to the wine lodge. They were kept in cold storage for 12h and then they were gravity-driven to the “lagar”, where it completed the fermentation. After that process, the wine was placed into oval cement vats with 1700L capacity, where the malolactic fermentation would occur. Ageing was done for 12 months in these same oval cement vats until the wine was bottled.
