Quinta do Margarido Touriga Nacional Tinto 2018

Sub-region: Serra da Estrela or Alva

Soil: Granitic

Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional. Vineyard age 25-30 years.

Tasting Notes: Color: Concentrated dark red. Nose: Elegant and complex, with ripe red fruits and notes of orange blossom. Mouth: Balanced tannins, good structure, unctuous, with a long and persistent finish.

Vinification: After a selected harvest of grapes of the variety, it was crushed with partial destemming, pre-fermentative cold maceration for 24 hours, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 24.5ºC in an open stainless steel mill.

Ageing: In French oak barrels for 18 months.

Pairing: Red meat dishes, stews and game dishes, as well as matured cheeses.
